Hello out there.
I thought I would update on my current plans for Europe. I had planned to go with my best friend in Texas, Kelsey. Sadly that isn't working out the way we had planned. What happened? If you are not aware, Kelsey and I work together. Recently a position came available that is a really good shot for us to move up a little at work. Kelsey and I both applied, the problems come in with training. I made the choice that if it came down to it I would give up the job to go on my trip and Kelsey went with showing her commitment to wanting the job by cancelling her end of the trip. I am now planning to go with Kerry, a friend from up North. But of course, there are still issues. What issues? I contacted the airline to have the name on the reservation changed and they have advised me that they were able to cancel Kelsey but have not been able to confirm Kerry yet. Why? No idea. The email that they sent me said that they had there fingers crossed that it would work. Yes, the airline literally wrote me an email that said fingers crossed on that. Now really these issues don't seem too overwhelming right? After all, I am not about to complain that I will be spending two weeks in Europe. I will just be a little sad if I am doing it alone. Come on Swiss Air! I crossed my fingers! Book the tickets! Anyway, with all of that I am starting to remake my travel plans with no Kelsey. Where will I go? What will I do? We will see.
